Notre Dame-du-Pré is a peaceful, small mountain village from which one can enjoy wonderful walks from your front door and, indeed, this is a good location for a more energetic holiday, with tennis, horse-riding and mini-golf all within easy reach. However, this is not at all a 'modern resort' although some famous ones are nearby: La Plagne, Courchevel, Méribel, Tignes, Val d'Isère. All of these offer scenic and sporting attractions in summer as in winter and the drives and walks are splendid.
This is one of the original old characterful houses of this ancient village on the edge of the Vanoise. From its charming patio one can look out across the central 'place' with its 'fontaine' towards pine-clad mountains.
The rustic yet comfortable interior is originally designed, with plenty of wood, wrought iron, an old prison-cell door to the cloakroom and wonderful thick stone walls. The kitchen, though simple in style, is equipped with microwave, electric kettle and coffee machine.

The peaceful village of Giez, dominated by its château, nestles against a splendid backdrop of mountains and boasts one of the finest golf courses in the whole area, with its views over to the lake at Annecy. Right in the old centre of the village, in a little cluster of houses now being renovated, stands this pleasant former farmhouse.
It offers comfortable accommodation and has the advantage of a good south-east facing patio and grassy grounds. The entrance and grounds are shared with the owner’s property adjacent. This is an ideal situation of course for golfers, but also perfect for walkers, lovers of mountain scenery and water sports enthusiasts, with the southern end of beautiful Lake Annecy only 4 km away.
Ground floor: modern, well equipped kitchen/breakfast room; bathroom (hip bath; WC) off; sitting/dining room with steps up to two good carpeted double bedrooms (one with door to garden), bathroom (bath with hand-shower; basin, WC). Staircase from kitchen leads up to: 1st Floor: 2 older style bedrooms: 1 small double, 1 with 2 large (110cm wide) singles plus a small (80cm wide). Shared grassy garden area.

Wonderfully situated for all seasons and set amongst lovely forest scenery, is this neat little chalet standing next to the owner’s farmhouse. Close to the Arly Gorges and only 40 km from Chamonix and the Mont Blanc, there are splendid drives in all directions: Albertville, Lake Annecy, fashionable Mégève, and for winter, the ski-lift is just down the road.
The large south-east facing terrace takes full advantage of the superb mountain scenery. The recently equipped interior is compact but neat and spotless. The open mezzanine has a sofa, a double and twin beds; given the limited space and privacy on this level we feel that the chalet is probably best suited to a couple or small family.
