From the Narni train station it is possible to comfortably reach the centre of Rome (approx. 80 km) in less than an hour, 20 km Terni, San Gemini (hot springs locality), the historic city of Amelia and the Marmore waterfalls, 25 km Lake Piediluco, 40 km Spoleto and Todi, 50 km Orvieto, 70 km Assisi. Lake lovers can reach the lakes of Bolsena, Vico and Bracciano in just about an hour's drive. Also an hour away by car are the very interesting Etruscan areas to the south and to the west of the city of Viterbo. Antico Gelso stands in the land of “Jacopone da Todi”, a city that still preserves the charm of a hamlet of the Middle Ages.
